7 Days in Europe

In July 2000, I flew out to Europe for two weeks of vacation. Our mission is simple, enjoy the wonders of London.

before we ever landed I noticed the highway and the highway, and how everyone seems to ride rides, "in the wrong direction." I laughed at the notion, as well as my cousin reminded me that the British drive on the left side of the road. This action is backed up by those who have traveled years before cars were traveling on its left as it is easier to draw the sword and fight the approaching enemy.

We checked into our hotel and immediately headed for the site. I noticed how many buildings are old brick structure. London is the impression of a city that has survived through the centuries. There are countless objects of interest such as,. Big Ben, Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge bring a historical factor in which London has

two of my favorite places in Europe, Stonehenge and the famous Roman baths. Stonehenge is an interesting structure of the stone is set in such a way that is unknown in detail. Some say its a spiritual gathering place, second place to the astronomical connection with the sun. Nobody really knows their truth, but the screen needs no introduction thanks to a stunning look.

of the Roman baths do not share the same wonder as Stonehenge, or are they? The buildings were built on top of the thermal sources, saying that they have healing properties which brought visitors from all over the Roman Empire. Today, about 2,000 years later during the baths still attract tourists. I was quite amazed to see such a refurbished monument, almost in its original form.

All in all, the European experience has given me great insight into the past.
