Archaeoastronomy
In 1965 a book called Stonehenge Decoded was published. Gerald Hawkins is a research and came to the conclusion that prehistoric ring of stones was more than just a ring of stones. This is the sophisticated observatory.

Stonehenge in southern England on Sailbury Plain, was built around 2800 BC. This continued until about 1075BC.Golemi boulders we see today was added later. The beginning is less impressive as a circular ditch with a massive stone is the circle. This stone, Heelstone is still there, even if it might not be original.

The idea is that the rock formed by the alignment. As seen from the circle of the sun coming out after the summer solstice Heelstone. Another aspect of the lines indicate the northern and southern risings of moon. The known Hawking says Stone Age people used stones as a device for predicting eclipses of the moon. Others are more conservative in their claims.

truth may never be known, but the fact that solar and lunar alignment are present in many of Stonehenge and other Stone Age monuments, so that primitive people were actually paying detailed attention to the sky. The fact that we know these people use celestial bodies to rule your life that the mere existence of these monuments of spiritual experience.
